I really enjoyed this; particularly the way in which you describe the way House's absence makes itself felt, especially to Taub, who superficially has scant respect for him. The image of the darkened office as a black hole where a star has burned itself out was striking.
You have a very subtle understanding of the dynamics of marriage too! I'm looking forward to more.
